Jobma Alternatives: 10 Best Tools for 2026 [Prices Compared]

TL;DR – Key Takeaways!

  • Compare actual costs. Most competitors list their exact prices online, but Jobma makes you ask for a custom quote.
  • Watch out for hidden limits. Besides pricing, check does the plan limit your number of job posts, candidates, team users, or total company size?
  • Try before you buy. VoxScreen offers a completely free plan, while TestTrick, Hirevire, and 1WayInterview give you free trials.
  • Test everything at once. TestTrick combines video interviews and skills tests into a single, easy-to-read report.
  • Save your videos first. If you plan to leave Jobma, make sure to download all your saved interview recordings before your contract officially ends.

In November 2012, Jobma entered the recruitment market as a South Asian product originating from India, launched by Mandeep Singh Sodhi, who now serves as the company's CEO.

Gradually, it garnered a strong global presence, evolving from a regional video resume platform into a leading AI-powered video interviewing software used by thousands of companies worldwide.

At present, Jobma operates under its legal name ‘Jobma LLC,’ with core operations in Minnetonka, Minnesota (USA) and Gurugram (India).

Jobma runs entirely on the cloud server. Coming with built-in AI features, it mainly serves recruiters, in particular those who hire using asynchronous (one-way) pre-recorded video interviews, live panel interviews and candidate skills assessments, and who judge candidates via automated AI scoring.

Our discussion here focuses entirely on why people move from Jobma to Jobma alternatives, or search for a Jobma alternative once they learn about its features or pricing, which might not fit in their current recruitment scenario.

Before we discuss the alternatives, we have to dig deep into why people switch or search for alternatives.

Users complain about its rigid customization options (can't delete old or inactive interviews), and the requirement to download the app from both sides (candidates and recruiters), which lowers the completion rate.

Most importantly, if a subscription expires by chance, recruiters lose access to the data (recorded video interviews).

Besides these, recruiters raise concerns the backend setup process is difficult to configure without a strong customer support team at your back.

We wrote this blog with one motive: you should test-drive our product to see whether it matches your budget and fulfills your HR needs as a whole, not just one-way video interviews.

We have truly put effort into researching Jobma (and its alternatives) and giving you the best Jobma alternatives in terms of price, features, and the product as a whole.

We never oversell our product; we recommend it only when it matches your HR operational needs.

Best Jobma Alternative Tools for One-Way Video Interviews

TestTrick

TestTrick one-way video interview software showing a recorded answer with an AI score

TestTrick one-way video interview software showing a recorded answer with an AI score

Gold standard if you want one-way video interviews, skills assessments and proctoring on one bill, and you would rather pay per finished candidate than per seat or per feature.

TestTrick, our own all-in-one assessment platform and our pick among Jobma alternatives, began as an idea in 2023. It has since run over 1 million tests for 500+ hiring teams (about us).

We are a comprehensive, all-in-one assessment platform with video interviewing built in, as we merge coding tests across 15+ languages, cognitive/psychometric evaluations, and AI-scored one-way video interviews into a single, cohesive workflow.

Our pricing plans have no feature caps. Our tiers ration only two things: candidate credits and users.

You spend a credit only when a candidate finishes a test. Building tests and sending invites cost nothing.

Starter gives you 600 credits a year (about 12 finished candidates a week) and 3 users. Basic doubles the credits for 5 users.

Business gives you 1,800 credits (about 35 a week) and 7 users. Run dry mid-year, and extra credits cost $2 each, with no forced upgrade.

For an SME filling a few roles a week, Starter or Basic costs less than many video-only tools.

For agencies and mid-size teams, Business keeps the bill flat. Large firms with 500+ hires a year move to Enterprise, with custom volume and a dedicated account manager.

Our newest work sits in AI video scoring. You set the criteria (or edit ours), and the AI scores text questions answered on video.

Your team keeps the final say and can change any score.

Features

  • 500+ pre-built tests, plus a custom test builder
  • Coding tests in 15+ languages, with code playback
  • Psychometric, cognitive ability and situational judgement tests
  • Candidate reports with PDF and Excel export, plus an analytics dashboard
  • ATS links with Manatal, Lever, JazzHR, Jobvite and more
  • One-way video interviews with time limits, attempt limits and bulk or public-link invites
  • ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and an AI fairness audit by Holistic AI
  • AI proctoring, browser lockdown, screen recording and tab-switch detection

Limitations

You should hear our weak spots from us. TestTrick is young, and our review pool is small: Capterra shows 5.0 from just two reviews.

On G2, reviewers praise the test library and support, but some miss role templates for areas like cybersecurity and AI engineering. AI scoring also skips questions you ask on video, so your team scores those by hand.

Spark Hire

Spark Hire one-way video interview page with a candidate video and team evaluation panel

Spark Hire one-way video interview page with a candidate video and team evaluation panel

Spark Hire is one of the strongest Jobma alternatives for small and mid-sized recruiting teams, though it isn’t the automatic winner for every company size.

Spark Hire offers one-way and live video interviews in a single plan, and its own ATS, Spark Hire Recruit, is available as a separate add-on.

Founded by Josh Tolan in February 2012, it holds a G2 rating of 4.7/5 (from 700+ reviews) and a Capterra rating of 4.7/5 (from 100+ reviews).

When you compare it with Jobma, the question of fit comes down mostly to pricing.

Jobma doesn’t publish its prices. Instead, you request a quote, walk the sales team through your company’s operations and size, and they price a plan around your needs.

Doesn’t make the cost a big unknown, because a small business gets a quote sized to a small business. Spark Hire, on the other hand, publishes its pricing.

The video plan costs $249 a month billed annually or $299 paid monthly, and some features stay capped until you move to a higher tier. Jobma is sold only on a yearly contract.

According to HR review data on TrustRadius, Jobma gets cheaper per user and per interview than Spark Hire as your business grows.

Makes it a competitive option for mid-market and enterprise budgets, even without public pricing.

Larger teams also tend to need deep, native ATS writebacks, such as Workday or Greenhouse, and is where Jobma, HireVue and other enterprise platforms compete harder.

Spark Hire also limits you to video screening unless you pay for its separate Recruit ATS or assessment tools. So a team wants video interviews and skills tests in one place may end up paying for, and managing, more than one product.

Features

  • Candidates record video responses to pre-set prompts on their own time.
  • Conduct and record real-time interactive panels within the tool.
  • AI auto-transcribes, summarizes, and scores candidate answers against specific benchmarks.
  • Built-in psychological evaluations mapping to 138 research-backed traits.
  • Generate secure, shareable candidate links so external managers can review without logging in.
  • Houses a full-stack applicant tracking system via Spark Hire Recruit.
  • An exceptionally highly rated, assigned Customer Success Manager (CSM) from day one, with zero handoff rotations.

Limitations and Complaints

  • You can only post 5 or 10 jobs at a time. To add a new job, you have to turn off a live one, which interrupts your active hiring.
  • Even though it connects to over 40 hiring systems (ATS), it only sends a basic "completed" status back. It does not properly transfer actual video clips, scorecards, or manager notes.
  • Once a hiring manager submits a star rating or comment, they cannot change or update it.
  • On Capterra, some job seekers complain the tool lacks simple features like background blur. This forces applicants to find a perfectly clean, quiet room for their video interviews.

Pricing

Spark Hire publishes starting prices and clear allowances. The 200 and 500 limits refer to company employees, not candidates.

Spark Hire planStarting price Main allowances and features
Video Interviews — monthly$299/month Unlimited live and one-way interviews; 5 active jobs and 5 users
Video Interviews — annual $249/month, billed annually Unlimited interviews, jobs, and users; onboarding, Customer Success Manager, and interview downloads
Recruit Pro — ATS $335/month, billed annually Unlimited users; video interviews and reference checks; 6,000 AI resume reviews/year, 100 e-signature documents/year
Recruit Growth — ATS $499/month, billed annually Adds behavioral assessments, customizable scorecards, panel scheduling, and custom reporting; 24,000 resume reviews/year, 200 e-signature documents/year
Recruit EnterpriseCustom quote 36,000 resume reviews/year, 300 e-signature documents/year; additional enterprise controls

ATS starting prices apply to companies with up to 50 employees and increase with headcount. Pro supports companies up to 200 employees; Growth up to 500.

All ATS plans require an annual contract. API access, SSO, and certain integrations can cost extra.

Pick Spark Hire if you prefer your applicant tracking system, behavioral personality testing, and video tools completely unified under one login dashboard (via Spark Hire Recruit).

If you consistently run 5–10 active job openings month-over-month, the flat-fee predictability offsets Jobma's custom, multi-tiered quoting architecture.

Willo

Willo candidate screening software homepage with verified candidate video tiles

Willo candidate screening software homepage with verified candidate video tiles

Optimal for SMEs and mid-sized teams want a no-download, browser-based screening tool, and charities or non-profits can claim its 50% lifetime discount.

Founded in Glasgow, Willo is a complete recruitment suite and one of the most flexible Jobma alternatives.

As a recruiter, you can collect video, audio, text or even 25MB file-upload answers. Candidates, on the other hand, have round-the-clock access to the tool.

After comparing both on features and pricing, we found both remove back-and-forth scheduling with asynchronous video screening.

When we tested Willo, we found it runs as a lightweight browser tool, with no download. Jobma also works in the browser, but it leans more on a mobile-first experience for recruiters and candidates.

Users rate both well on Capterra and G2 because of this lightweight design. On G2, Willo holds a 4.6 rating from roughly 275+ verified reviews. On Capterra, it holds 4.7 out of 5 stars from 39+ reviews.

Reviewers praise how clean and intuitive the interface is for both recruiters and non-technical applicants, along with the no-download setup and the onboarding support team.

“Willo Verified” (candidate identity, right-to-work and background checks) and “Willo Intelligence” go further than most platforms in this list.

Willo Intelligence writes transcripts, flags candidate answers may be AI-generated, pulls key insights from the entire video, and suggests follow-up questions you might ask during a live panel (one more task taken off your plate).

You won’t find these exact features in Jobma, which puts its focus on multi-format interviews (video, audio and assessments) instead.

When it comes to caps, Willo Lite is limited, which might not be good news if you hire in bulk or at large volume.

On Enterprise pricing, however, you are free from per-role and per-user limits.

Features

  • Video, audio, text or 25MB file-upload answers, with 24/7 candidate access.
  • Custom logos, colors and welcome messages match your employer brand.
  • Native connections with 50+ ATS platforms (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby), plus Zapier.
  • AI-powered transcription, candidate summaries, and response benchmarking against role criteria.
  • Includes Willo Proof (employer verification) and Willo Verified (candidate identity and background checks).
  • Localized in 18+ languages, WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliant, and low-bandwidth friendly.

Limitations and Pricing

The pricing might make you hesitate if you hire for many roles at once.

Willo Lite costs $59 per live role each month on a pay-as-you-go basis, with no contract.

It is capped at 5 live roles, 5 users and 150 assessed candidates per role.

Only Enterprise removes the per-user and per-role caps, starting from $3,799 per year (£2,999 in the UK), billed annually.

It's a clear signal Willo is built for high-volume recruiting and multi-team corporate use, as it comes with open API access, anti-cheat infrastructure and SSO.

If you are a registered charity or non-profit organization, Willo looks upon you with favor: you get a 50% lifetime discount on every plan.

Also note right-to-work, ID and background checks are not included by default. You have to pay extra credits or add-on charges on both the Lite and Enterprise tiers.

HireVue

HireVue video interviewing page showing on-demand candidate responses and rating options

HireVue video interviewing page showing on-demand candidate responses and rating options

Optimum for a large enterprise or Fortune 500 company where AI-powered video interviews, assessments and compliance paperwork are a must, along with a heavy budget to invest.

You might be leaving Jobma because you’ve outgrown it. Considering HireVue might be a sound choice, as it is the enterprise-grade step up.

There, you find on-demand and live video interviews, with game-based tests and an AI interviewer prepares questions.

But it all comes with heavy investment, along with caps on basic plans. As a business owner with a small budget or even mid-level budget, such breadth is often not worth the price.

At its core, HireVue runs on a machine learning model trained on millions of historical data points.

HireVue analyzes what candidates say and scores how well they match the role.

HireVue machine learning models compare a candidate’s data points against historical performance data from top-performing employees already in specific role to screen growth mindset, adaptable personality, and culture fit.

And there is a reason for it. Large enterprises and Fortune 500 companies strictly require these.

On G2, HireVue holds 4.1 out of 5 stars from roughly 231 to 255 reviews. Users praise its hands-on support during the first months of setup.

The strong security and compliance credentials (SOC 2, ISO, GDPR and FedRAMP) further justify its heavy budget.

Features

  • Deep game-based and cognitive/psychometric testing (via Modern Hire)
  • A flexible integration ecosystem: native ATS integrations plus Zapier support for thousands of apps
  • HireVue Interview Builder (and Builder for Live) open doors to over 1,000 pre-configured, role-specific, science-backed, structured evaluation guides
  • Advanced AI scoring, predictive analytics and multi-language AI

Limitations

  • All of the AI predictive talent features are capped on lower-tier plans (such as Essentials) until you purchase an expensive enterprise upgrade to unlock them.
  • Post-sale customer service has mixed reviews. As the platform goes live and the implementation team steps away, users struggle to get quick help or feel ignored.
  • Candidates often find their one-way video interviews cold, robotic, or impersonal because of the heavy AI involvement.
  • HireVue faced public scrutiny over AI bias, and in 2021 it dropped facial expression analysis.

Pricing

HireVue doesn’t publish its pricing. According to Capterra, entry-level plans (Essentials) start at around $35,000 per year.

But are limited to single-language support, basic on-demand and live video, and SSO, without AI scoring and scheduling.

Some enterprise users report higher enterprise tiers of $50,000 to $200,000+ per year, plus implementation fees of $15,000 to $40,000.

That’s a bitter pill for SMEs, growing businesses, and even established companies watch their budgets closely. If you, a lighter Jobma alternative will likely serve you better.

1WayInterview

1WayInterview homepage for one-way video interview software made for small businesses

1WayInterview homepage for one-way video interview software made for small businesses

Optimum when you run a startup or a small team, you want one-way video screening without a sales call, and you would rather pay for interviews by the month than sign a yearly contract.

1WayInterview, an automated, on-demand recruitment platform from Singapore-based Emunova Pte. Ltd., sits at the opposite end of the price spectrum from Jobma and most enterprise-grade Jobma alternatives.

The company pitches itself, quite openly, as “the only one-way video interview software made for small businesses.”

Its plans read like it: affordable to enter, capped by monthly interview volume, free from heavy, corporate-grade infrastructure small businesses do not want to pay for.

1WayInterview now leans most on “AI screening agent” and a pay-as-you-go option, with extra interviews from $0.57 each (and, as a small mercy for regular hirers, those top-up credits never expire).

Every plan also gets three recording features at no extra cost: single-take recording, no return to earlier questions, and automatic recording when a countdown ends.

Against Jobma, the downside comes down to depth versus price. Jobma watches the interview more closely, with tab-switch, multi-face, device and copy-paste detection.

1WayInterview prevents cheating by making the test harder to game (cannot use tricks, hacks, or shortcuts), rather than spying on candidates.

1Way Interview holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars from 41 reviews on Capterra (and around 4.8 to 5/5 on G2), with praise for its ease of use and transparent pricing.

Features

  • AI drafts interview questions from a job title, and you edit or accept them
  • Video, AI-scored text and auto-scored multiple-choice questions in one interview
  • Per-response AI scoring on relevance, clarity and completeness, with ratings you can override (SME plan and up)
  • Optional anti-cheat controls on every plan: single-take, forward-only reveal and auto-record
  • Audio narration for questions, a real help for non-native speakers and accessibility needs
  • Branded candidate pages with your logo, colors, company description and a welcome video
  • SMS and email invites with automatic reminders
  • Team-, position- and candidate-level sharing, plus one-click ZIP export of a candidate’s full record
  • Video retention for as long as your account stays active, with no plan-based deletion windows

Limitations

  • Monthly interview caps run the show. Starter stops at 30 interviews, SME at 60 and Business at 150, so a busy hiring month pushes you into top-ups or a bigger plan.
  • ATS integration lives only on the Unlimited plan, and Breezy HR remains the only live connector today (others arrive “on request”). Teams on Greenhouse, Workday or Lever may find themselves copying data by hand.
  • AI scoring skips the entry tier. Starter users watch every video themselves.
  • Proctoring stays light. The anti-cheat tools slow down cheaters rather than catch them, and you get no tab-switch or multi-face detection.
  • We found no live video interview option on its site, so plan on a second tool for the follow-up round.

Pricing

1WayInterview prices by monthly interview volume, not by seat or role, and every plan includes unlimited positions. Annual billing saves you about 30%.

PlanAnnual billing Monthly billingKey unlocks
Starter $13.99/mo $19.99/moUnlimited positions, anti-cheat controls
SME$34.99/mo$49.99/mo Adds AI test validation and scoring
Business$62.99/mo $89.99/mo Same features, more volume
Unlimited $209.99/mo $299.99/moAdds ATS integration, corporate domain and premium support

Pricing as of October 2026. Extra interviews start at $0.57 each

The pricing rewards small-scale hiring. A year on Starter costs $167.88, less than many enterprise tools charge for a single month, and even the Unlimited plan tops out around $2,520 a year on annual billing. Jobma, by contrast, sells only yearly contracts at a quoted price.

InterviewStream

InterviewStream on-demand video interviews page with a recruiter reviewing a recorded answer

InterviewStream on-demand video interviews page with a recruiter reviewing a recorded answer

Optimum for school district, hospital or city office recruitment, when you want one-way interviews, live interviews and scheduling in one place.

InterviewStream, a Chicago veteran of video hiring, started in 2003–2004 and was built with the same motive as other Jobma alternatives: Screen candidates faster. Eliminate chaotic back-and-forth scheduling. Reach candidates anywhere through standardized video workflows.

RIVS bought Interviewstream in January 2017. Today it serves 900+ clients and 65,000 users. Users most appreciate its easy UI, which doesn’t require extensive technical knowledge to navigate.

InterviewStream has run over 3 million interviews, and its heart beats for the public sector: built-in links to popular education and HR systems (Frontline Education, PowerSchool and SAP SuccessFactors) show you who it courts.

Like Jobma (and unlike most Jobma alternatives), InterviewStream hides its price behind a demo.

Even on Capterra, you won’t find a starting price or a free trial.

As a small school district, a hospital or a city office hiring two people a week, the paywall feels like a locked door.

For a district filling 200 teaching jobs each spring, the quote buys a tool built for hiring-event season.

Features

  • AI Interview Summary turns each answer into short notes with confidence scores
  • AI Recruiting Assistant drafts job ads, questions and emails
  • On-demand and live video interviews
  • Self-scheduling and hiring-event scheduling
  • Interview Builder for steady question sets
  • SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR compliance
  • 15+ languages and 15+ ATS and ERP links

Limitations

Users give it 4.5 out of 5 on Capterra (34 reviews). Still, the complaints pile up around setup.

One user calls the job setup "awkward" and says the workflow "isn't intuitive." Another saw invites go out with the wrong job or campus ID, a costly slip for a district with dozens of schools to run.

Others mention a calendar you must refresh by hand and glitches on the wrong browser. Candidates on weak internet also struggle.

Pricing

InterviewStream posts no tiers, so you can't match caps to your budget before a sales call. Expect a custom quote.

Pick InterviewStream when you run a large or tightly regulated employer. You hire in bulk each week, and your ATS serves schools or government.

Stay with Jobma when you want AI scoring on top of AI notes (automated summaries), easy connections with other HR software, and a tool less tied to schools and city halls.

WedgeHR

WedgeHR homepage showing a candidate video interview with review notes

WedgeHR homepage showing a candidate video interview with review notes

Optimal software for businesses with a steady stream of hourly, frontline hires for restaurants, home services, retail or franchises, where you need candidates to answer fast before they ghost you.

In 2015, CEO Matt Baxter, living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, founded WedgeHR, now known for high-volume, multi-location and franchise hiring, because recruiters in these sectors wanted to skip phone screens and judge personality and communication style instead.

Candidates tap a link and record on their phone, with no login or app. WedgeHR itself claims a 75% drop in ghosting and a 50% cut in time-to-hire.

WedgeHR’s Core plan gives you 2 members and 3 live jobs. Pro upgrades your account to 10 team members and 10 active job postings.

Enterprise starts at 50 jobs. For an SME filling three roles a week, Core fits like a glove. For a franchise with 40 stores, you will quickly hit the job limit and land in Enterprise fast.

A mid-sized organization with large-volume hiring should avoid it unless it runs fewer than 50 active jobs. Thus, it’s ideal for a startup or SME where hiring is low.

Prices also crept up. In late 2025, Hirevire's review listed Core at $150 a month and Pro at $400. Core now costs $250 month-to-month, about 67% more.

Annual billing and a 60-day refund window on yearly plans soften the blow. So you have to keep an eye on pricing because predictability is lower.

The newest launch, Candidate Signals, reads each interview for five people skills, such as self-awareness and teamwork.

Strong candidates float to the top, and each note links to the exact moment in the video. Your team still makes the call. The catch: Signals lives on Pro and up.

Features

  • AI summaries on every plan, with full transcripts from Pro
  • Custom branding, closed captions, video downloads and white-label sharing from Pro
  • Google SSO, SAML and multiple brands on Enterprise
  • Email and SMS invites, open links and automatic reminders
  • 30+ integrations, including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, ADP, Paycom and Zapier
  • 150+ pre-recorded questions, with think time, answer limits and retakes on every plan

Limitations

Users rate it 4.6 out of 5 on G2 from about 52 reviews, praising the ease of use, but some mention tech hiccups, and one says it falls short for technical roles.

We found no live video, skills tests or AI scoring, so deeper screening needs a second tool, and it does not serve as a full, standalone ATS, sourcing engine or onboarding suite.

VoxScreen

VoxScreen homepage for AI-ranked one-way video screening with a candidate scoring table

VoxScreen homepage for AI-ranked one-way video screening with a candidate scoring table

Optimal for a startup or a small entrepreneurial team hires in bursts and wants AI-scored video screening for free until volume grows big enough to pay for.

VoxScreen, a 2026 newcomer among Jobma alternatives built and run by one engineer, Cláudio Kölln Ribeiro, does the exact opposite of what Jobma does.

Jobma makes you call sales before you get a custom price. VoxScreen hands you the whole product for free, and its free plan "won't turn into a trial."

That’s good news for startups or businesses with (very) few staff.

VoxScreen’s hiring workflow (a powerful filter) automatically separates the best candidates from the rest.

You describe the role; AI writes the questions and a scoring rubric (you can edit both). The rest is in the candidate’s hands: they record video or voice answers from one link.

You get each answer transcribed, scored against your rubric and ranked. The AI never rejects anyone; it sorts your list, and you make the call.

The pricing ladder has one rung to climb: candidates per month.

Every plan, the free one included, gives you unlimited jobs, unlimited team members, AI scoring, branding and unlimited retakes.

A CEFR language score also comes free, a real gift for teams hiring support staff across borders. For an SME screening 10 people a week,

Free covers you. For a team screening 100 a week, Starter fits. Premium suits high-volume hiring.

Features

  • AI-written questions and rubrics, with scores broken down by each criterion
  • Zapier, Make, webhooks and a REST API on every plan
  • CEFR language proficiency from A1 to C2 in five languages
  • Your logo, colors and own wording on all six candidate emails
  • Video or voice answers, chosen per question, with transcripts and AI summaries
  • Rejection emails wait three hours, so you can undo a hasty "no"

Limitations

Think of the monthly limit as a maximum capacity. Once you hit your monthly limit, VoxScreen turns new candidates away until the reset, and unused room never carries over to the next month.

As a one-person company, support goes to the founder's inbox (a plus for speed, a risk for scale). The absence of SOC 2, SSO or GDPR claims, and no native ATS links beyond Zapier, Make and the API is a risk you bear.

As a regulated employer, you might struggle to get it past legal. You also can't run interviews on your own domain or remove VoxScreen's name from the candidate page.

Reviews barely exist yet. SHRM's vendor directory and Techjockey show no user reviews, so you test it with no crowd to lean on.

Pricing

Plan Monthly Yearly Candidates/month Adds
Free $0 $0 50The full product
Starter $39 $390 500 10x the room
Premium $149$1,490 2000Analytics, priority support

Pricing as of October 2026. Yearly billing saves about 17%.

Hireflix

Hireflix one-way video interview software homepage with candidate status cards and video review

Hireflix one-way video interview software homepage with candidate status cards and video review

Suits a hiring team in search of unlimited one-way video interviews at a price won’t change. Keep the human eye as the final verdict (Hireflix offers no AI scoring).

In 2018, Hireflix came into existence (per its Capterra listing), and it serves one thing with no meter running: one-way video interviews.

Where Jobma comes with a custom hidden quote per your hiring volume and needs, Hireflix sizes its price to your headcount. Every plan gives you unlimited seats, jobs and answers with no feature capping.

A company under 50 staff pays $75 a month on a yearly plan ($900 a year), and a firm with 50 to 250 staff pays $150 ($1,800 a year).

Monthly billing doubles both, so the yearly plan wins for most teams. However, you might experience a bottleneck if you do not want to pay the full annual budget at once.

This is especially true when your recruitment operations are uneven, requiring higher volume in peak moments and lower volume in off-peak periods.

That leaves the HR department stuck paying the same in all scenarios, though you still pay less on an annual plan.

As a startup under two years old or an NGO, you get 20% off the first year.

Features

  • Intro and outro videos, white label and your own brand themes
  • Bulk invites, open links and email, SMS and WhatsApp messages
  • Built-in links to Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby, BambooHR and more, plus an API
  • Transcripts, team ratings, comments and video downloads
  • Candidate pages in 17 languages, with no app or login
  • SOC 2 and GDPR, SSO, audit logs and auto video deletion
  • Video or text questions, with your own think time, answer time and retakes

Limitations

Hireflix holds 5.0 out of 5 on Capterra from about 255 reviews and holds a 5.0 out of 5 star average rating on G2, based on over 440 verified user reviews.

Almost all reviewers praise its ease of use, zero-download candidate experience, and responsive customer support.

Yet a few users found invites in junk mail, a silent leak in a busy funnel (companies lose candidates without realizing). Some noted nervous candidates do not always perform well on camera.

As well, the pricing plan is based on company size, which is itself a limitation for a large or growing enterprise with few hiring requirements.

The bigger gap sits in the toolbox. We found no AI scoring, skills tests or live interviews on its pricing page.

You get unlimited videos, but your team still watches each one. At 200 applicants a week, the "unlimited" plan quietly bills you in hours, not dollars.

Pricing

PlanCompany sizeYearlyMonthly
Small Under 50 staff$75/mo ($900/yr) $150/mo
Medium 50 to 250 staff $150/mo ($1,800/yr) $300/mo
Custom Corporates, agencies, high volume Quote Quote

Pricing as of October 2026. All plans include all features.

Hireflix is your best pick as an SME or startup owner with strict rules who hires at a constant rate each week and wants one flat bill with SOC 2 and SSO built in.

Before choosing a yearly plan, check whether monthly billing fits better when hiring rises or falls in certain months.

Hirevire

Hirevire AI video interview software page showing a recorded answer with transcript and notes

Optimum for a lean team or an agency requires AI scoring at a small price and hires for a few roles at a time.

Hirevire, a Mumbai tool from founder Sanat Hegde, launched in 2022 (per GetLatka) and grew up on AppSumo's lifetime deals.

Today Hirevire sells plans with no sales call, like most Jobma alternatives.

Every plan has every AI feature: scorecards, transcripts in 90+ languages and unlimited questions.

The caps fall on jobs, users and interviews. The Essentials plan gives you 1 live job, 1 user and 300 interviews a year for $39 a month, paid yearly.

Pro lifts you to 5 jobs, 5 users and 1,200 interviews for $99. Agency jumps to 20 jobs, 15 users and 12,000 interviews for $199.

For an SME filling two roles a week, Professional is the natural route. For a firm hiring 50 people a week across 30 different positions, the job cap turns into a blockage.

One smart feature softens the cap. Auto-disqualify screens out people who miss your must-haves before they record, and those answers don't count toward your limit.

Features

  • Five branded client accounts, webhooks and transcript search on Agency
  • Zapier, Make and MCP connections
  • Video, audio, text, screen and file answers
  • MCP link, enabling hiring from Claude or ChatGPT
  • AI scores each answer from 1 to 5 against your factors, and shows why
  • Your brand, intro and outro videos, and email and SMS templates on every plan
  • Your own web address, a career page and no-login links for managers from Professional
  • Auto-disqualify before candidates record

Limitations

Users rate Hirevire 5.0 on Capterra from 26 reviews and 4.9 on AppSumo from 71. Still, small pools flatter.

Reviewers mention thin branding options, the odd tech hiccup and a busy layout for new users. The sharper catch hides in storage.

Every plan keeps videos for just 90 days, and all of them are deleted once the period expires, unless you pay $9 a month for 90 more days.

That’s a major legal issue for highly regulated industries required by law to keep records for a full year.

We also found no built-in ATS links, live interviews or SOC 2 claim on its pricing page. Hirevire’s team appears to be small, too (GetLatka guesses three people).

Pricing

Plan Yearly Monthly Jobs Users Interviews
Essentials $39/mo $49/mo 11300/yr
Professional (Pro) $99/mo $149/mo 551,200/yr
Agency $199/mo $249/mo 201512,000/yr

Pricing as of October 2026. Seven-day free trial, no card.

If you operate a startup or a small SMB with a few roles a week and want AI scoring with no contract, grab Hirevire.

Jobma is your route if your HR team intends to keep videos for years, sync with your ATS and run live interviews, or if your legal team wants a bigger vendor behind your records.

Jobma Alternatives Pricing Compared

Jobma keeps its price behind a sales call. Most Jobma alternatives now post their numbers, so you can do the math before you talk to anyone.

Tool Starting priceWhat caps the plan
VoxScreenFree; paid from $39/mCandidates per month
1WayInterview $13.99/mo, billed yearlyInterviews per month
TestTrick$35/mo, billed yearlyCandidate credits and user
Hirevire $39/mo, billed yearly Jobs, users and interviews
Willo$59 per live role/moRoles, users and candidates
Hireflix $75/mo, billed yearlyCompany headcount
WedgeHR$200/mo, billed yearlyMembers and active jobs
Spark Hire$249/mo, billed yearlyJobs and users on monthly billing
Jobma, HireVue, InterviewStream Quote onlySet in your contract

Prices from each vendor's pricing page, October 2026. HireVue's entry figure of about $35,000 a year comes from Capterra.

With Jobma alternatives, the sticker price tells half the story. The other half lives in the meter each tool runs on.

Per-candidate meters (VoxScreen, TestTrick) reward teams with a steady, modest flow. Job-slot meters (WedgeHR, Hirevire) punish a burst of open roles, since each new job needs a free slot.

Headcount pricing (Hireflix) rewards small firms with big hiring spikes. Watch the add-ons too. Hirevire deletes videos after 90 days unless you pay $9 a month for more time.

Willo charges extra for ID and right-to-work checks. Spark Hire sells its ATS as a separate plan from $335 a month.

For a startup, a free or sub-$50 plan covers early hiring. For a growing team, map your busiest month against each cap.

For large and tightly regulated employers, Jobma's quote may still win, since it bundles volume, security reviews and support into one contract. You can't see the number up front, but you can bargain over it.

What to Check Before Switching from Jobma

A switch to one of these Jobma alternatives feels simple until your old videos vanish (or your ATS stops talking to the new tool). Before you sign anything new, walk through five checks.

  • Export your data first. Jobma users report losing access to recordings once a plan lapses, so download videos, scores and notes while your contract still runs.
  • Check your notice period. Jobma sells yearly contracts. Find your renewal date and cancel in writing before it rolls over.
  • Test the ATS link. "Integrates with Greenhouse" can mean a full sync or a bare status update. Run one real candidate through the new tool and your ATS before you commit.
  • Match retention to your rules. At least one rival deletes videos after 90 days by default. Regulated employers often need records for a year or more, so confirm the retention window in writing.
  • Rebuild one workflow in the trial. Recreate your busiest role, invite five real candidates and time the review. Ask your hiring managers to score them too, since they will live with the tool every week. Many Jobma alternatives offer a free trial of 7 to 30 days, so the test costs you only an afternoon.

FAQs: Jobma Alternatives

Is there a free alternative to Jobma?

Yes. VoxScreen has a free plan for life, with AI scoring for 50 candidates a month. TestTrick, Hirevire and 1WayInterview offer free trials with no card.

How much does Jobma cost?

Jobma posts no prices. You ask for a quote, and G2 lists three yearly plans (Growth, Professional and Enterprise), each priced around your volume and needs.

Which Jobma alternatives offer AI scoring with human review?

TestTrick, Hirevire, VoxScreen and 1WayInterview (SME plan and up) all score answers with AI, and each keeps your team in charge of the final call.

What's the difference between async and AI video interviews?

Async interviews let people record answers on their own time, and your team reviews them. AI video interviews add AI scores, notes or even an AI interviewer.

Are one-way video interviews compliant with EEOC, GDPR and NYC AEDT rules?

They can be, but the duty sits with you. US anti-bias law still applies, NYC wants a yearly bias audit for AI tools, and GDPR wants a lawful basis.

Who are Jobma's main competitors?

The main Jobma alternatives include TestTrick, Spark Hire, Willo, HireVue, Hireflix, Hirevire, VidCruiter, InterviewStream, WedgeHR, 1WayInterview and VoxScreen, each priced and capped in its own way.
